The St. Angelis Symphony Orchestra was created by conductor and composer Daniel Rutherford at First United Methodist Church at San Angelo, Texas in 2002. Back in 2003 began activities as an independent Symphony Orchestra and Chorus group. In 2004 Mr. David Miller was invited for the position of Director of Music Ministries for First United Methodist Church also at St. Angelo, Texas and since then the Symphony Orchestra and Chorus performs frequently in major halls and concert festivals across the US and Canada. Recently in 2006, was invited to the Festival del Centro Histórico de la Ciudad de México (Mexico City Downtown Main Cultural Festival).
